Nicholas Peach, Managing Director, is the Head of APAC iShares.
He leads the iShares equity and fixed income product and
commercialization teams, leading the APAC iShares franchise to
its next era of growth, growing cross-border ETF distribution,
developing and scaling our local lines and leading strategic
regional ETF initiatives. Nicholas also chairs the APAC iShares
Executive Committee.
Prior to his current role, Nicholas was the APAC Head of Markets
and Investments within BlackRock Global Markets & Index
Investments (“BGM”), responsible for driving the next phase of
ETF and indexing growth in APAC by delivering market quality and
investment integrity for BlackRock's index funds and iShares
ETFs in the region, as well as leading the modernization of the

Since joining the exchange in 1984, Mr. Iwanaga has held various
roles across the exchange’s administration and operations
ranging from corporate strategy, HR, and finance to corporate
communications, information services, and clearing & settlement.
Notably, as the officer for Clearing & Settlement, he
facilitated the merger between Japan Securities Clearing
Corporation (JSCC) and Japan Government Bond Clearing
Corporation.
He also directed the development of the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 as
the officer for Information Services, and during a term as CFO
of JPX, the entity established through the merger between the
Tokyo and Osaka bourses, steered the formulation of the group’s
financial strategy and streamlined operating costs across the
organization.
After joining JSCC in 2019, he spearheaded the integration of
clearing houses for commodity and financial derivatives, and
served as President & CEO of Osaka Exchange from 2021. He was
appointed to his current role as Representative Executive
Officer and Group COO of Japan Exchange Group, Inc., and
President & CEO of Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. in April 2022.

R.G. Manalac is Senior Vice President and leads Nasdaq’s
Financial Technology business across Asia Pacific. In his role,
R.G. oversees Nasdaq’s client and sales relationships with the

suite of mission critical platforms across Regulatory Technology
and Capital Markets Technology.
R.G. has over two decades of experience in the FinTech industry

Ji Zhuang
Head of Indices,
Asia-Pacific, Bloomberg
Ji Zhuang is Bloomberg’s Head of Indices, Asia-Pacific, based in
Hong Kong. He leads a team of experienced index professionals,
and oversees the development and management of Bloomberg's
Indices Business in the Asia-Pacific.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Zhuang successfully led
Bloomberg's Multi-Asset Strategy Index business globally both
before and after Bloomberg's acquisition of Barclays' risk
analytics and indices solutions in 2016.
Previously based in London, Mr. Zhuang led a product team, who
developed research-backed proprietary risk/factor based
systematic strategies and asset allocation indices, helping
clients turn investment ideas into indices fulfilling their
investment needs. His team also acted as an independent index
calculation agent and administrator for clients, enabling them
to manage their indices on enterprise-scale infrastructure and
meet the requirements of an evolving regulatory landscape.
Before joining Bloomberg, Mr. Zhuang was a Director at Barclays,
leading the global development and management of the bank's
cross asset strategy index business. He expanded Barclays'
tradable strategy index business during his tenure and was
involved in all aspects of the business, including idea
generation, index development, implementation and marketing. He
was also Chairman of the strategy index governance committee,
where he was responsible for decision making on all index
events.
Mr. Zhuang holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a
master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering & Management both
from Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge.
Eric Chang

Mr. Derek Yung is the Chairman and the Senior Managing Director
of AllianceBernstein Investments Taiwan Limited (AB Taiwan). He
has been with the firm for 28 years. Mr. Yung oversees all
business across AB Taiwan’s retail and institutional franchise.
He has over 35 years of experience in the financial industry.
Mr. Yung joined AB Hong Kong in 1997 as a Marketing Director and
was re-located to Taiwan to establish AB’s Taiwan business and
has been leading it since then. Today, AB Taiwan is one of the
largest fund management companies in Taiwan.
Prior to joining AB, Mr. Yung held management position at
Fidelity Investments.
Mr. Yung won the “Golden Goblet Awards - Taiwan’s Outstanding
Leadership Prize”, awarded by the Vice President of Taiwan,
R.O.C, and “Best of the Best Awards – Taiwan CEO of the Year” by
Asia Asset Management (AAM) from 2015 to 2025, which is the 10th
consecutive year. Mr. Yung led AB Taiwan to win “Best House for
Offshore Funds” in 2024 and this is also the 10th consecutive
years in a row that AB Taiwan took top honor from AAM’s Best of
the Best Awards.
Mr. Yung is a Director of the Securities Investment Trust &
Consulting Association (SITCA), a Director of the Pension Fund
Association (PFA) in Taiwan, and was the founding Co-Chairperson
of the Asset Management Committee of the American Chamber of
Commerce in Taiwan (AmCham).
Mr. Yung earned MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and
has completed the Harvard Business School Executive Program.

Wilfred Sit, CFA
Chief Investment Officer, Equity, Asia Pacific,

Wilfred Sit is the Chief Investment Officer, Equity, Asia
Pacific with Allianz Global Investors based in Hong Kong. He
joined the firm in 2025 and is responsible for the overall
investment process and performance of equity portfolios managed
across Asia Pacific.
Wilfred has over 30 years of experience in the asset management
industry. Prior to joining AGI, he was Director and Chief
Investment Officer at Hang Seng Investment Management, one of
the largest homegrown asset management firms in Hong Kong. He
was responsible for leading an investment team that manages
active and passive strategies with products ranging from ETFs,
retail funds, and institutional mandates. Before that, he held
key roles as Chief Investment Officer, Asia and Head of Asian
Equities at Baring Asset Management, as well as Regional Chief
Investment Officer for Asia Pacific and Head of Asia Pacific
Investment Strategy at Mirae Asset Global Investments.
Additionally, Wilfred served as Senior Fund Manager at Invesco
Asia, responsible for managing Hong Kong and China mandates and
global balanced portfolios.
He was recognized as CIO of the Year (Hong Kong) by Asia Asset
Management Best of the Best Awards 2024 and as CIO of the Year –

Philippe El-Asmar

Philippe El-Asmar, Managing Director, is Head of ETF, Direct
& Digital, Asia Pacific for J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Based in Hong Kong, he oversees the distribution, development
and management of the ETF business and client franchise in
Asia Pacific. He is also a member of the Asset Management Asia
Pacific Operating Committee.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2017, Mr. El-Asmar was CEO and
Co-Founder of Amareos, a news analytics FinTech that evaluates
market sentiment, produces research and consulting services.
He was also a lecturer at the Hong Kong University of Science
and Technology and The University of Hong Kong on Finance and
FinTech.
Mr. El-Asmar previously spent 10 years at Barclays where he
held a variety of senior positions. He served as Global Head
of Equities Distribution and Head of Distribution, Asia
Pacific in Hong Kong, managing a team of 800 sales
professionals globally, and as Global Head of Investor
Solutions in New York. Mr. El-Asmar was also a member of the
Equities Executive Committee, Asia Pacific Executive
Committee, Global Markets Management Committee and Senior
Leadership Committee. In addition, he was a pioneer of the
Exchange Traded Notes industry, having created the iPath ETN
in 2006.
Before joining Barclays, Mr. El-Asmar spent seven years at
Société Générale where he was the Head of Structured
Investments Sales and Head of Structuring in New York and Head
of Equity Structuring in Tokyo.
Mr. El-Asmar is multilingual and graduated from ESSEC in
France.
Kenichi Suzuki
Senior Managing Director, Head of Global Business Unit,

Kenichi (“Ken”) SUZUKI, Senior Managing Director, was appointed as
the Head of Global Business Unit of Nomura Asset Management Co.,
Ltd. (NAM) in April 2024. Ken has more than thirty years of
experience in the asset management industry having joined NAM in
1992.
He has held a number of senior positions within Nomura Group
including most recently CEO of Nomura Asset Management U.K. Ltd.
(NAM UK) since July 2023, and before that, he served as Vice
Chairman of Nomura Asset Management Taiwan Ltd. in Taipei. He has
also worked in Nomura Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. covering client
services and fund structuring, and in NAM covering multiple
responsibilities including Head of HR and Team Head of Advisory
Fund Management Dept.
Ken graduated with BSc in Physics from Kwansei Gakuin University
in Japan. He is a Chartered Member of the Security Analysts
Association of Japan and a Certified International Investment
Analyst.
Priscilla Luk

Priscilla Luk is MSCI’s APAC Index Products Lead for the
Asia-Pacific region. Based in Hong Kong, she is responsible for
the company’s regional index business strategy development and
execution, leading regional product strategy initiatives as well
as ensuring its index business is positioned to capture growth
opportunities across the region.
Prior to MSCI, she was the APAC Head of Global Research &
Design at S&P Dow Jones Indices, where she led the
development of innovative index products across different asset
classes, working closely with clients, partners, and exchanges
to deliver tailored index solutions. Prior to S&P, Priscilla
worked with Deutsche Bank, Mirae Assets Securities, CITI Group,
and Credit Suisse in various equity research capacities. She
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Finance with
a minor in Mathematics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
